Cobio’s coconut sugar is manually produced on organic farms of the Java island in Indonesia. It is acquired directly from the growers, which allows for high product traceability – we know exactly from which palm tree the coconut sugar was obtained.
Cobio’s Coconut sugar is unrefined, unfiltered, unprocessed and without added colourants, its moisture content is low (less than 2%). Coconut sugar Cobio has also been awarded the EU organic certification.

Cobio’s coconut sugar is 100% natural, unrefined sugar, extracted from fresh nectar of coconut blossoms. It is suitable for baking pastries, or cooking jams and other delicacies. You can use it as a sweetener in all recipes, it is delicious in smoothies and other beverages. The flavour of Cobio’s coconut sugar has a soft hint of caramel and does not taste like coconut.
Manual production and processing
Natural unrefined Cobio’s coconut sugar is obtained from fresh nectar of the coconut palm. The nectar is obtained by cutting a part of a coconut blossom and then collected into a hanging container. The nectar is then gently and slowly heated to evaporate the excess moisture, which results in crystallization of the nectar. Prior to that, some natural spices, such as cinnamon and ginger, may also be added to the nectar.

Coconut sugar is a natural source of magnesium, which helps to balance the electrolytes, as well as to reduce fatigue and exhaustion.
